드레싱의 역할

즉시/나중에 제거한다

수포 내에 고이는 물질에는 새로운 피부 재생을방해하는 물질이 섞여 있기에 이를 제거해 주는 것이 좋다.

피부 재생 기간 동안 수포가 남아 있는 것은 감염의 원인이 될 수도 있다.

1.화상원인 제거하기

접촉 시간이 길어질수록 화상이 깊어져손상이 심해진다.접촉 시간을 최대한 줄이는 것이 중요하다

뜨거운 물에 옷이 젖은 경우, 옷은 벗기려하지 말고 가위로 제거하는 것이 열과의접촉 시간을 줄여주어 화상이 깊어지는 것을예방할 수 있다.

2.시원한 물로 화상 부위를 충분히 식히기

흐르는 물에 15~20분 정도 식히는 것이 좋다.

이때 흐르는 물은 너무 세지 않도록 하여야 한다.

화상 부위가 넓은 경우에는 저 체온 증에 빠질수 있으므로 몸 전체를 담그지 말고 구급 대에게 빨리 도움을 요청한다.

3.화상 부위를 식힌 후,조이는 옷이나 장신구는제거하기

금속의 장신구는 열을 가지고 있어 화상을 깊어지게 한다.

화상을 입고 나면 부종이 생기므로 조이는 장신구 등을 제거하지 않으면, 혈액 순환에 방해가 된다.

4.깨끗한 천이나 붕대로 화상 부위를 감싼 후 병원에방문하기

붕대는 너무 조이지 않게 감아야 하며

화상을 입은 경우에는 병원을 방문하여 전문가의 조언을 들어야 한다.

잘못된 드레싱으로 화상 상처에 감염이 생기거나, 화상이 깊어지면 치료 기간이 길어지고그 만큼 흉터를 더 많이 남기게 되기 때문이다

주의!

물집은 터뜨려서는 안 된다.

얼음을 직접 화상 부위에 대면 피부에 손상을 입힐 수 있다

소주, 치약, 연고 등은 화상을 악화시킬 수 있으므로 바르지 않는다.

전기 화상의 경우 전류를 차단 하여야 한다. 이때 전기와 접촉된 상태의 사람을 만지면 위험하며, 열을 식히기 위해 절대물을 사용해서는 안 된다.
