DESCRIPTION

Burstyn and Dobrotvir thermal power plants are situeted in western Ukraine. Being one of the most polluting power plants in Europe they are exporting electricity to countries of European Union, which is a clear case of carbon leakage. The situation with these two plants is a demonstration of shortcomings of EU climate policy.
