Lesson 1: original video with listening activities, focusing on the story of Yamaguchi Electronics and its search for a sales representative to market a new GPS-based cellular product
Lesson 2: Students synthesize and manipulate pieces information to construct a text, form, contract, or other business document.
Lesson 3: reading passages about cultural issues related to business, with reading comprehension and grammar activities

eight profession-specific case studies with slide shows explaining a professional dilemma
hints, both listening and reading, help the student decide on the best solution for the dilemma

Summative: two 45-minute examinations on the listening and reading components of the BEC examination
