Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Wed., Dec. 10, 2014 (today) at St. Peter’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Bill Jungmann celebrating. Memorials in Mr. Bornhoft’s honor may be made to the Fleming Community Library, St. Jude’s Hospital, or to the charity of the donor’s choice in care of Tennant Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1547, Sterling, CO 80751. Paul was born in Brush to John and Elizabeth (Hundepohl) Bornhoft and he graduated from Fleming High School in 1947. He raised 35,000 to 40,000 head of turkeys every year for 25 years and was a co-founder of Solar Farm Industries and Fleming Auto Sales. Mr. Bornhoft was an early Korbe of Loveland, Lori (Jeff) Sherman of Sterling, and Ann (Eric) Bozeman of Brighton; grandchildren Deena, Dan, Jerry, Darin (Kesha) Hershfeldt, Ben (Karen) McPherron, Ryan Breen, David Burton, Molly (Jason) Rice, Casey (Casey) Burton, Katrina Burton, Kendra (Joe) Richards, Megan (Todd) Troutman, Steven (Jenn) Bornhoft, Kris (Colby) Loomis, Kaycee Lawrence, Josh (Sophia) Bornhoft, Chase and Katie Dunning, Kiley and Justin Korbe, Brad Stewart, Alisha Lynch, Keli and Kayla Sherman, and Adrian Meraz. Mr. Bornhoft is also survived by great-grandchildren Hunter, Landen, Aulbrie, Jacob, RJ, Emma Hershfeldt, Edie Williams, Ella, Callie Rice, Brayden Burton, Zayden Lazano, Tatum Richards, Riley and Alivia Troutman, Malia and Vivian Bornhoft, Piper, Tatum, Kyler Loomis, Anna Beth, Molly and Jenny Bornhoft and great-great-grandchildren Klayten and Paizley Thomas and Karter Chartier. Tennant Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church for 80 years. Mr. Bornhoft always supported his kids and grandchildren in their school and sporting events. He could be seen on the sidelines of football games in his insulated coveralls and stocking cap cheering for his children and his grandchildren. His greatest joys were his wife, kids, grandchildren, great- grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Paul was preceded in death by his parents John and Elizabeth; brothers Hank and Norbert; sister Romualda Bornhoft; grandson Nicholas McPherron; great- grandson Tommy Troutman and in- laws Lawrence and Ella Schaefer. Mr. Bornhoft is survived by his wife Darlene of Fleming; children Peg (John) Hershfeldt of Fleming, Penny (Fulton) Breen of Cary, N.C., Pam Bornhoft of Sterling, John (Connie) Bornhoft of Sterling, Jim (Annette) Bornhoft of Severance, Jerry Bornhoft of Riverton, Wyo., Patti (Geoff) Cox of Broomfield, Mary K. (Tim) Margaret May Dickerson, 98 of Sterling, was born May 7, 1916 in Willard and died on Sat., Dec. 6, 2014 in Sterling. Private family inurnment will be held at Riverside Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husband Virgil Dickerson; daughter Janice Doyle; son Dr. Lon Dickerson and grandson Dennis Doyle. Mrs. Dickerson is survived by grandchildren Kendall, Pamela, Lynn, K.C. and Marcus; sister-in- law Dolly Long and niece Paula Burton and husband Glenn; eight great grandchildren, two great- great grandchildren and numerous other nieces, nephews and other relatives.
