Introduction I babysit as a part time job. My parents are willing to help me pay for my car. I will buy a used car because it will be cheaper than buying a new car. I hope this car will last me through high school and college.

My Car Choice I decided to buy a Nissan Versa because it is the most practical car. I did not want a sports car, truck, van, or anything difficult to drive. I am hoping this car will last me until I graduate college, and then when I have a job I will buy a new car. In general, Nissan cars are very practical and easy to drive. They are good with the gas mileage also.

Versa The Versa has 63,146 miles. It is a 2008 hatchback sedan. The total cost is $8,585. I will pay for the first $1,000 with the money I have saved from babysitting. Then I will finance the rest. I will pay for any maintenance work and gas.

Maintenance I will maintain this car by taking it to the mechanic for inspection and anything that needs to be done. If it is damaged, I will have extra money set aside to help pay for anything unexpected.

Financing I will finance the car. My parents will seek a loan from their bank. My parents will pay $250.00 a month for the Versa. They are helping me because I only have a part time job.

Insurance My parents will pay for the insurance because I will be a part of their plan. I will have liability insurance because it covers any damage I cause to another person. If I am in an accident, liability insurance will be important to have. I will have collision and comprehensive because it covers the cost of any damage to my car. There are deer in my area so comprehensive is important to have because it covers any damage from natural causes or theft. Medical payment covers my passengers and me if I am at fault in an accident. I will have towing insurance just in case my car needs to be towed.
