There will be one full bucket of balls at the back of the room and one empty bucket at the front of the room. The object is to pass the balls one at a time under the chairs and fill up the empty bucket at the front. To introduce the activity say: Milton McGoo is Upsidedown Town’s game expert. And to help us review what we talked about today, we’re 1. going to play one of Milton McGoo’s favorite games. I’ve divided you into two teams. You will be competing with each other to answer review questions and also 2. to fill up your team’s empty bucket at the front of the room. I will ask questions about today’s lesson and after each question is a fifteen second timer. 3. If your team gets the question right, your team will have fifteen seconds to pass the balls up to the front 4. of the room and into your team’s bucket. The other team will have to wait for their chance to answer their own question. If you get the question wrong, then both teams will get to pass for fifteen seconds. 5. When all the questions have been asked, the team that has moved the most balls to the front bucket is 6. the winner! To lead the activity say: Now remember, this game was invented here in Upsidedown Town. So to be the best at 1. this game you almost need to be upside down in your chair. Try to get in a spot where you can see under your chair for when the person behind you 2. passes to you. Here comes the first question! 3. Note: Ask the review questions by reading them from the screen or from page two of this help sheet. After each question have the children pass the balls under their chairs for fifteen seconds. Once all the questions have been asked, determine which bucket contains more balls and declare a winner! Return to script to close the service. Lesson 8 By Showing Love, I’ll Honor God Above!
