Bluegrass Community and Technical College student Chelsey MacAdams of Williamstown was selected as the 2012 Outstanding Program Graduate of the Equine Studies program.
Faculty members select one student from each of the programs as an
Outstanding P r o g r a m G r a d u a t e , which recog-nizes students who have exhibited strong l e a d e r s h i p , exceeded crite-ria and expecta-tions in their degree program
and demonstrated academic excellence. Thirty-three students were honored
May 6 at the Kentucky Horse Park Alltech Arena in Lexington.
Home school group to meet May 29
Providence Extension Program, a home school partnership group, is coming to Grant County at 1 p.m. May 29 at the Grant County Public Library in Williamstown.
The program offers:• Home Schooling Tutor Program
for grades 7 through 12• CORE classes in history, compo-
sition and literature, philosophy, plus science, math, music, drama, Latin, Spanish, logic and study halls.
• Affordable College Prep Classical Education with a Christian Worldview
• Small class size-individual atten-tion
