RESOLUTIONS OF RESPECT
Whereas, God in His infinite wisdom has seen fit to remove
from our midst our beloved pastor and brother, Rev. C. M. Rollins,
Rolesville Baptist Church and community have sustained an
irreparable loss.
Therefore be it resolved:
1. That we will bow in humble submission to God's will,
knowing that our loss is his eternal gain.
2. That while we miss his pleasant face and helpful
sermons, we must say, Thy will, not ours, be done.
3. That a copy of these resolutions be sent to the
Biblical Recorder, one to his family, and one
be put on our church record.
MRS. W. J. ROGERS, C. D. MATHENY, J. T. SHEARON.

RESOLUTIONS OF RESPECT
We, the members of the Students' Ministerial Class of Wake
Forest College, desire in this way publicly to express a sense
of our loss in the recent sudden death of Crawford M. Rollins.
He was pure and lovely in his life, gentle in his manners,
on terms of good fellowship with all, sympathetic, a big brother
to the weak, and sharing the joys of the strong; respecting
others and respected of them; in all things manifesting the
Spirit of his Lord and Saviour.
We shall always cherish his memory since his life and con
versation were such as to quicken others to higher thinking and
holier living, while to his younger brothers in the ministry he
was always warmhearted and helpful.
To his wife and daughter, father and mother, and other
relatives, we extend our sympathy.
RAYMOND LONG, C. E. BAKER J.B. BLANKS.

. We were grieved to learn last week that Rev. c. N. Rollins,
a ministerial student at Wake Forest who had been seriously in
jured in an automobile wreck, hed died at Rex Hospital a short
time after the accident. Crossing the railroad track in his car
he failed to see an approaching fast train on the Seaboard and
was struck by it. Professor Paschal advises us that Brother
Rollins was one of the most popular students at Wake Forest. He
was pastor of several churches and all of them were devoted to
him. He leaves a wife and one daughter.
