Welcome to Our New Members!

The new members include: Evan and Katee Hawker; Mark and Jessica Heyungs and children Nathan, Austin, Connor, Breeanna and Addie; Derek and Kathryn Larson; Bill and Jeannie Marks; and John and Lynn Straw and children Parker, Hudson and Campbell. Renew? Renew!

A Capital Campaign to fund the renewal of our church building launched April 23rd. This campaign provides each of us the opportunity to celebrate the constant renewal that is the work of the Holy Spirit at Prince of Peace. Our theme is “Renew? Renew!” based on Psalm 104:30: “When you send your Spirit, they are created, and you renew the face of the ground.” There are three gatherings scheduled to find out more about “Renew? Renew!” Families are welcome!

Meet and Get to Know Your BoSL

BoSL Listening Forum 1st Sunday of the Month, Church Office

Come share your ideas, concerns, and desires with members of the Board of Servant Leaders at the monthly BoSL Listening Forum. These opportunities are held the first Sunday of each month during the Sunday School hour (9:45-10:45 a.m.) in the Minister of Care and Outreach office located in the main church office. Feel free to email your questions or thoughts to the BoSL anytime at [email protected].

Faith Stories

Sharing your faith story is an integral component in living out your faith. Your individual story makes up the greater story—the story of God’s redeeming His people for Himself. Our stories encourage other believers while God also uses them to reach those not yet connected to Him.

“The Divorce Care class I attended at Prince of Peace was a quiet, solid source of comfort and support. Our common “brokenness” is covered by our need for God’s grace, which we receive in abundance. Thank you Prince of Peace for providing this life changing class.”

“At the recent RESTORE evening, I was privileged to sit with

Pastor Carl during the meal time and shared how grateful I was for

the Divorce Care class I attended at Price of Peace. I applauded his

willingness to be the church to the broken; real kingdom building is

happening here.”

You can share your stories by writing them in the “Friendship Folder” at any worship service, or post your story as a comment on the http://popfaithstories.wordpress.com, or by sending an e-mail to [email protected].
