LINEAR (drawer-type) Example: 2-Locking Positions (pin/cable moves, fixed striker plates):

(1) Pin is in locked position & is released by pulling handle (not shown). (2) Pin contacts the striker plate ramp & partially recesses back into the

threaded housing. (3) Pin is fully pushed out by internal spring. (4) Pin contacts the striker plate ramp & partially recesses back into the

threaded housing.

(5) Pin is in locked position & is released by pulling handle (not shown).

ANGULAR (door-type) Example: 1-Locking Position (fixed pin/cable, striker plate on rotating door):

(1) Door closing as striker plate ramp contacts pin, partially recessing pin back into the threaded housing.

(2) Door closed with pin in locked position. Pin is released by pulling handle (not shown). Optional gas spring assist can push door back open.
