CABLE REPAIR PROCEDURES PROJECT SHEET Offshore Marine Management delivers cable repair procedures. Scottish and Southern Electric (SSE) contracted OMM for delivery of the following services at Greater Gabbard Offshore Wind Farm: Site and data analysis Risk mitigation Repair and replacement procedure writing Contingency planning Offshore Marine Management provided site specific repair and replacement procedures via site visits and access to as built data covering potential scenarios of cable damage and repair. GGOWL requested submission of all repair costs based on equipment and vessel availability at that time, from four potential contractors. In the event of a cable fault, the contractor selection will be based on the quality of procedural information supplied. On request GGOWL can facilitate site access to offshore substations and internal transition pieces to allow repair procedures to be further defined. Offshore Marine Management delivered the following procedures: Array Cable Reburial Array Cable End Reburial Cable Mattress Replacement Array Cable Repair Array Replacement Tekmar Seal Repairs Cable Fault Detection Craneage, Mobilisation and Lift Plans Array Cable Length Mobilisation and Transport Export Cable Reburial Export Cable Repair OMM are now one of four approved suppliers selected for consideration in the event of a cable related incident on the Greater Gabbard wind farm.
