We understand how important a fun and memorabile event is and we

love to offer something a little bit different and personal. At Calais we

are genuinely passionate about our wines and pairing them with unique

experiences. We not only have a broad range of traditional wines and

rare varietals, in fact we have one of the longest boutique wine lists in

the Valley, but we also offer a range of customisable experiences and

have a number of unique spaces for all your event needs.

For corporate groups we have a number of tasting

experiences available to enjoy. These can be

booked during the day or after hours, at Calais or

at your own location.

We have a set of standard packages that can be

enjoyed separately or grouped together and we

are also always happy to build custom events to

suit your needs as well.

WINE OPTIONS

A wine options game can also be added to most tasting

experiences. This is a blind tasting game played with the group and

the winner receives a bottle of wine as the prize. Price from $15.

tasting in our charming

sandstone cellar door or your

hotel. The perfect way to

welcome your guests or finish off

a day of conferencing.

Please note this is a tasting, not a

drinks session, however you can

purchase additional wine and

cheese platters that our staff will

happily serve during the tasting if

you would like it to include pre-

dinner drinks for your guests.

VIP Tasting

Indulge in a private tasting

for your group, tailored to

your unique palates and

wine knowledge.

At the end of the tasting

everyone in the group will

choose their favourite bottle

of Estate Range wine to take

Bubbles Bonanza

Learn how to make your

own sparkling wine in the

French traditional method.

Break into smaller groups

and get hands on in the

process to style your own

bottles to then be enjoyed

over a casual gourmet

picnic Lunch.

This includes the sparkling

session, sparkling wine to

share and a picnic lunch.

Explore the inner workings of a

boutique winery as you enjoy a

sparkling tasting then lend a

hand to make your own

sparkling wine.

Built from convict cut sandstone

and reclaimed wooden beams,

the cellar door is the perfect

experts on hand throughout the

night to answer any questions you

have about the wine or Estate.

Our Barrel room is the perfect location for a large corporate

event or gala dinner.

Hosting up to 250 seated or 450 cocktail style, it is the perfect

space for a sit down lunch or dinner, themed event or

cocktail party set amongst our working wine barrels.

We have a very large Estate with lots of outdoor areas for

any kind of event.

We have natural amphitheatres, flat areas and hilled areas

as well as a BBQ area and outdoor picnic tables.

From small groups to large concerts and

even Slideapalooza...we have the space!

Outdoor Events

The Verandah Restaurant is located above the Cellar Door and

has sweeping views across the Vineyard and Estate. Serving

modern Australian, tapas style, the Verandah also caters for

more traditional menus as well. The restaurant can seat up to 100

people. Smaller groups can dine within the restaurant or use the

Cellar Door as a private dinning room for up to 20 people.
