Caleb Explores...

the Heart of Worship

...helping people discover a lifestyle of worship

“God is spirit and those who worship Him should

worship Him in spirit and in truth” (John 4:24)

I thoroughly enjoyed participating in

the Caleb School of Worship and can

unreservedly affirm that it has the potential

to significantly alter people’s perception

of the meaning of worship and re-shape

and refine the quality and potency of a

church’s worship event. We feel as a church

leadership that our worship experience

has been positively improved as a result

of doing this course and I thoroughly

commend it to any who feel that there may

be something missing in the reality of their

worship, whether it be on Sunday morning

or mid week in a cell group.

During this session, we will focus upon the ‘nuts and bolts’ practicalities of leading in worship, such as:

▶ Maintainingaflowoflife▶ Using musical instruments▶ Ideal sound balances▶ How to partner with the Holy Spirit to lead people into an

intimate heart encounter with the Lord▶ Dangers to avoid etc.

Everyone with a heart for worship and especially those who have a calling to lead worship services, will get a lot out of this coursethatwillbenefitthemgreatly.

Everyone with a heart for worship and especially those who have a calling to lead worship services, will get a lot out of this course that will benefit them greatly.

This 4 session course is designed to help people explore the heart of true worship.

There is nothing more powerful, uplifting and glorifying to God than authentically worshipping God together. Many of us leaders desire to facilitate people entering that ‘holy of holies’ experience and yet for a variety of reasons, it more often than not eludes us. This course aims to address such issues.

We begin by examining what the Bible We examine what the Bible teaches about worship and what Jesus meant when He said that, “God is spirit and those who worship Him should worship Him in spirit and in truth.” (John 4:24).

An in depth look at what constitutes a ’lifestyle of worship’ is examined.

In session 3 we focus upon the many creative and diverse ways in which we can give God the glory and worship that is due to Him.

The course ends with two practical workshop style sessions. The first provides an opportunity to express such creativityinworshipand thefinalone isdesigned tohelpdevelop theleadership skills of those who have a heart to lead the people of God in a time of corporate worship.

As leaders of HCLC, we invited Caleb Ministries to come to our church

and deliver their C

aleb School of Worship course. The input th

ey

gave was very helpful and enabled us to re-kindle the essence

of a lifestyle of worship that affects the whole of life. Since

participating in this course, there has been a greater degree

of freedom in our worship services combined with a sense of

increased flow and fluidity. The worship band have worked

hard to put into practice some of the practical suggestions

given and seem now much more capable of taking the

congregation into a more intimate encounter with the

Lord. We would all highly commend this course to any

church or group looking to improve the authenticity

and freedom of their worship experiences.
