Dear Parents What a fabulous day we had for the annual P&F Lapathon last Fr iday. The aroma of barbecued sausages enticed all students to tuck in to the P&F gifted repast with gusto, the colourful tented
atmosphere, created by a myriad of our generous hearted parent volunteers, set the scene superbly and then came the very enthusiastic runners – the main characters for the afternoon – our Year 1-3 students, followed by the Years 4-6 children. The warm afternoon did not curtail the energy or pace of our ‘lapathoners’. They gave it their all. A very big THANK YOU to our students for your unstinting engagement in the event. The staff and students would like to thank our two main coordinators, Emma Taylor and Karen Wilsoncroft, and all of the P&F and the many parents who contributed their time and enthusiasm to help create the wonderful community spirit that this event brings to the school. We thank you too for the additional resources this P&F fundraising event will provide for our literacy learning areas. This was achieved under the guidance of Mrs Natalie Zuchetti, our resident mosaic artist. Natalie is in this week all day on Wednesday and Friday and on Thursday morning to start the process of laying the glass tiles onto the pavers, replicating the children’s designs. She will be working with small groups of children over the next couple of weeks as they place the tiles on and then later with the
