The EYP Summer Academy is here again! The training event will take place from 16-19 Sep-tember 2016 at Berlin Wannsee. Apply as a trainer using the online application form by 4 July and get the chance to share your expertise and develop your training skills further.

The Summer Academy is a training event that aims to support the work of our National Committees by providing training courses and enabling knowledge-sharing for 80 board members from around Eu-rope. The aim is to enable the trainees to develop their skills and help them better run and further develop the work of their EYP National Committee. During the four days the trainees will have the opportunity to take part in different training modules grouped under five different tracks: Fundraising, Outreach and Inclusion, National Committee Man-agement and Development, PR and Communication and an ad-ditional fifth track for knowledge sharing and extra trainings. Partici-pants will be able to follow one track through the whole training event or switch between the training modules of different tracks.

TRAINERS TEAMWe are now looking for trainers to organise modules related to the four different tracks. The specific subjects of the train-ings will be decided together with the trainers team based on the needs analysis conducted with the National Committees.

The trainers team of the EYP Summer Academy consists of:• One coordinating lead trainer supervising the training schedule and coordinating with the lead trainers of the dif-

ferent tracks. The main focus of this trainer is the coordination and the supervision of the trainers team and training materials. He or she might also facilitate some training modules

• A team of four lead trainers for the four different tracks developing and supervising the training schedule for their respective area and facilitating them together with the additional trainers.

• An additional team of seven trainers, including 2-3 external trainers facilitating different training modules in all five tracks.

Trainers will be involved in all steps of the content preparation. The trainers team will be supported by a Head Organiser and International Office representatives helping with the organisation of the event. The travel costs will be reimbursed up to 200 EUR, in addition to which the lead trainers will receive a compensation. Trainers are expected to arrive the day before the Summer Academy, the 15th of September. An additional preparation meeting will be held in August.

We invite all EYPers with training experience and who are familiar with the work of National Committees to apply to join the event as a trainer. Previous experience from giving and planning training cours-es is an advantage, but not a requirement. It is also possible to give trainings on different subjects. All EYPers who are passionate about and experienced in trainings are invited to apply by filling in the online application form by July 4th.
