Open House—Thursday, August 29 Thursday, August 29 is Open House and Curriculum Night for Cambridge parents and guardians. Open House will be an opportunity for them to visit your teachers and classrooms. View more about Open House. Parent/guardians can view your schedule on Campus Parent, or you can assist them by sharing your schedule with them or view your schedule in Campus Student. Printed copies of your schedule will not be available at Open House. 9th Grade Class and Student Council Applications are being accepted for 9th Grade Class and Student Council representatives. The application can be found at www.cambridgehs.org. Fencing Team Students interested in participating with the Fencing Team need to turn in completed required forms ASAP to Ms. Rishel in 2.704 (deadline is first practice 8/29/19) If you need copies of the required forms, they are also available in 2.704 Please note: current physical MUST be dated April 2019 or later in order to cover the full season! Fencing practice starts Thursday, August 29 th at 3:30 in the café. Important information will be presented at the first practice. If you are not able to attend, please let Ms. Rishel know in advance ([email protected]). FBLA Motivational Rally The FBLA Motivational Rally will be at the Georgia National Fair, on Thursday, October 10. This is a great opportunity to make new friends, enjoy the rides and eat delicious fair food. Register by September 10th. There will be many open testing opportunities to get prepared for FBLA competitive events. For more information and to register. Yearbook 2019-2020 Yearbooks are available for purchase at www.balfour.com. The initial cost is $70, so purchase yours today! The price will go up to $80 on October 1, 2019. Senior Ad: Parents/guardians can also purchase yearbook ads through our online ad builder located at www.balfourcom. The deadline to buy a senior ad is November 22, 2019, at 3:30 pm. Senior Portrait Deadline: The deadline to have portraits taken is October 26, 2019. If seniors do not have their portrait taken by this date, they will not appear in the senior section of the yearbook. Please make appointments by calling BPI at (770) 887-3080. Club Opportunities—BETA and Habitat The Cambridge Beta Club is currently open for new and returning members. To join, visit our website cambridgebeta.wordpress.com for instructions.
