well beyond the ordinary

2 CAMBRIDGE@WORK

“THE FIRST WEALTH IS HEALTH.”— RALPH WALDO EMERSON, American philosopher/poet (1803-1882)

For over 35 years,Cambridge Group of Clubs has delivered a sophisticated, high-end health and

fitness experience to its thousands of clients in Canada and visitors from around the world.

We know health and fitness like the back of our hand. We understand what it takes to raise,

enhance and accelerate your game, create a sound body and mind, and experience a superior

quality of life. That knowledge, passion, experience and excellence is what fuels CAMBRIDGE@WORK

— the wellness-in-the-workplace extension of our brand.

With CAMBRIDGE@WORK, we bring a comprehensive approach to the wellness environment. We

assist HR departments and their corporate leaders to see themselves as visionary architects of

change, champions of customized, high impact corporatewellness programs that ensure the long-

term health, wealth and well-being of their employees – personally and professionally.

We know that corporate leaderswhomakewellness-at-work a fundamental part of their business

strategy — not just a perk — are ensuring the success and growth of their enterprise long-term.

BUILD A FOUNDATION OF WELLNESS!

Innovative prevention solutions, unique education and training programs that are a breeze to manage are the

cornerstone of CAMBRIDGE@WORK. Wellness in the workplace programs can be a powerful complement to an

existing Employee Assistance Program. They can also open the door to a new conversation on wellness that

enhances your employee’s lives at work – and at home.

2CAMBRIDGE@WORK 3

THE NEW R.O.I.

The 3 top health risks in the workplace are:work-related stress, mental health issues, and highblood pressure. (2009 NATIONALWELLNESS SURVEY, BUFFETT & COMPANY). The return on

investment of workplace wellness programs is well-documented. With a planned and targeted

program, companies can expect to save at least $3-5 dollars for every dollar invested. (EMPLOYEE BENEFIT

NEWS CANADA).

4 RETURN ON WELLNESS

R.O.W. – Return On Wellness – is the new R.O.I. The poise, power and profit it delivers to an organization is pricelessand cannot be overstated. Time and time again, the

statistics are persuasive:Wellness in the workplace issmart business. When your people know you are making

their health and well-being your top priority, something

profound happens. Your people show up differently, ready

to participate and contribute at higher levels.

• morale improves

• goodwill flourishes

• productivity soars

People are healthier and thus, happier. What does this

mean for you?

• lower health care costs

• increased loyalty

• decreased absenteeism

• better staff recruitment and retention

• more on-the-job innovation and problem-solving

At CAMBRIDGE@WORK, we

say well-being is a product of

well-doing.Why?When you

do well by your people, your

people do well by you. When

you invest in wellness in the

workplace, you inspire every-

one to bring the best of who

they are to the table.

Three little letters strung together like a bold, visionary thunderclap of joy have changed the

world again and again: YES! Those who say “YES” regularly stand convention on its head, make

possible the impossible and win the delighted favor of the world.

Think ofChristopher Columbuswhoventured beyond the horizon of conventional fears to discovertheworld orDr. Jonas Salkwho found the cure for polio;WayneGretzkywho skated into our heartsand The Hockey Hall of Fame by always ‘skating to where he knew the puck would be’; Sir RogerBannisterwhobroke through the psychological barrier of the 4-minutemile andSir EdmundHillarywhowas the first to climbMt. Everest – all of them answered the dreamwithin their hearts with

a resounding “YES”!

At CAMBRIDGE@WORK, we see ourselves as dream catchers. We create a net for possibility that

is unmatched. No dream too bold, no request unmet. YES is ourmiddle name.We understand that

helping you achieve wildly optimal wellbeing (your own personal wow) in all areas of your liferequires a whole set of factors that are deeply individual. One size does not fit all. We also know

that optimumwellness doesn’t fall from the skies, isn’t a game of luck or chance, but is a desire,

a decision, a practice, a choice. We are there every step of theway to turn your choice for supreme

wellness into an opportunity for unparalleled and harmonious success at work, at play and in life

– an opportunity to experience the joy of YES again and again and again. YES!

“FORTUNE FAVORS THE BOLD.”— VIRGIL, Roman poet (70 B.C. - 19 B.C.)
