    feasting tables, are now greedy to take whateverlands they feel they have the power to seize. Yourcherished plans of building a peaceful fruitful bar-ony must now turn to battle strategies and warpreparations. So you and a contingent of rein-forcements are going to fortify an outpost on theborders of your northern lands. For the RedBaron whom you fear the most, borders that region

    of your land, knowing invariably that outpost will bethe first staging point for his future attacks ,he hasalready tried to take it five years ago, with numer-ous siege engines and was able to tear down sev-eral wall sections, but your men won that day(withsome help from the King) and drove him backacross the river. Work in these hard times goesslowly to rebuild it, thus you want to see the pro-

    gress as you have heard mixed reports, so you aregoing to accompany the reinforcements in person,As you climb over the hills down into the valley en-

So you decide to set up an ambush onhis side of the border where he would least expectit,

    You command the entire for-est region and can position

    units anywhere on the road.Your troops cannot enter or

    fire upon the deploymentzone (hill tiles) or in thesafety zone (ruin tiles ) repre-senting the outpost fort.

    If you have won the last

    game you may missile fire

    upon the first row of hillstiles, where the red dot and

    on the tiles either side of itbut still off limits for attacks.

    Your men remain hidden until

    you fire the first shot, youmay move units in forest, andnot get attacked or fired uponif you desire.
