The Sociedad Mexicana de Materiales (SMM) and the Materials Research Society (MRS) welcome you to the XXVII International Materials Research Congress (IMRC 2018).

The Sociedad Mexicana de Materiales (SMM) will be hosting the XXVII International Materials Research Congress (IMRC 2018) in Cancún, México, August 19-24, 2018. The venues of this event are the JW and Marriott Cancun Resort.

In this series of annual meetings, the SMM, in part­nership­with­the­MRS,­offers­an­exciting­multidisciplinary stage to present new directions in materials research and technology, as well as valuable opportunities to exchange ideas with some of the foremost­experts­in­the­field.

The IMRC has become a leading conference with about 1,700 attendees from more than 40 countries. We are sure­­that­­at­the­­IMRC­­2018­­you­­will­­find­­­a­­wide­­range­­of­symposium topics of interest to the materials research community at large.
