b) Growth Opportunities: The deregulation of the international air traffic and open skies policies had helped Jet to expand and Kingfisher has the capability to expand to international market in near future provided it can overcome the Indian Civil Aviation Ministrys prerequisite. The increase in the airport landing and navigation charges which are much higher than the international benchmarks, restricted availability of airspace for civil aviation and the increased price of ATF are all barriers to the growth of these airlines.

c) Strengths:

b) Kingfisher: After acquiring Air Deccan synergized its aircraft maintenance and spares as both of them had similar fleet of aircrafts. License to operate in international routes which is only available to a few airlines

c) IndiGo:

Top management which is highly expertised functionally and having sound financial strength Ability to provide low cost service
