Context of Digital Literacy

Page 27: Capacity Building of NDLM Master Trainers

Accept it or not, Co-ordination starts only with proper communication and so does the effective

usage of Digital Literacy.

Digital Media & Digital Literacy are no different when it comes to co-ordination. And it needs TIME + Efforts.

Coordination Required...

Page 28: Capacity Building of NDLM Master Trainers

1. Lack of knowledge, education,2. Improper participation,3. Improper Coordination,4. Coordination from the society,5. Interest overlapping,6. Time constraints,7. Financial side,8. Tracking and Monitoring activities,9. MTI

The Roadblocks…

Context of NDLM

Page 29: Capacity Building of NDLM Master Trainers

Questions:•Where are the Digital Literacy programmes so far?

• What are the languages required?• Are the languages used contemporary?

• What if we don’t understand/relate even the terms?• What are the factors resisting a proper interpersonal

communication?

------------• Only 5% Indians are fluent in English – India Human Dev. Survey 2005.

• Greater Digital Divide...
