University of Central Florida Caribbean Students Association at the FCSA Conference

such as Stetson University and the University of Central Florida, and most recently at the Florida Caribbean American StudentsConference and we were blown away by their talent, their pas-sion, their intelligence and their commitment to showcasingtheir national colors. The enthusiam showcased by these stu-dents during the roll call at the FCSA Conference was a primeexample and simply amazing. As a past and current presidentof the Guyanese American Cultural Association and chairper-son of the Heads of Caribbean Association in Central Florida, Ican safely say we don’t get it. We talk the talk, we get on oursoap-boxes and articulate about our respective National Asso-ciation mission statements and vision statements and all thethings that could be done or should be done by our Govern-ments back home, be it Guyana, Jamaica, Barbados, Trinidad& etc – are we doing it here? Are we reaching back into thecommunity and really offering a hand, are we mentoring ournext generation and taking an active role in the activities atour local community elementary schools, middle schools, highschols or even Colleges? NO! We all, myself included, are busydoing our individual things, running our businesses, network-ing in the community, attending Association events and Na-tional Galas, failing to make an effort to engage with the nextgeneration of community leaders. Our National Associationsproduce major fundraising events and activities, then we uti-lize the funds to sponsor projects back home. While this is great,we should take a look at our local students right here in Floridaand see if they have needs that we can help them with. At theFCSA Conference it was impressive and inspirational to see com-panies like Caribbean Airlines, Victoria Mutual, Laparkan, VPRecords, Grace and others; individuals like Marlon Hill,

s business professionals, community activists, and busi-ness owners: what is our responsibility to our CaribbeanAmerican students studying here with us in America? Are we doing our part to be mentors, leaders, entrepre-neurs and substitutes for the family they have left athome? Over the past few weeks we have spent timewith the Caribbean-American students at local schools

David & Robert Mullings, Dr. Fidel Goldson, Sasha Watsonand the many other guest speakers giving back the 3 T’s –Time, Talent, and Treasure; most importantly TIME.We are a proud people, proud of our Nationality, proud of ournational colors, proud of our individual achievements. We haveindividually done, and will continue to do, great thingslocally, nationally, and internationally. However, just thinkof the possibilities if we come together, support each otherand work together to make the changes we want to see in theworld for the next generation. I truly believe that with unity, community support, and efforts to give back there is nothingwe cannot achieve as a people. I will close with the words ofthe great Jack Welsh, “Before you become a leader, success isall about growing yourself. After you become a leader, successis about growing others.”

s President Obama takes his victory lap for enrolling7.1 million Americans with the Affordable Care Act,the Republicans are demoralized and angry. With thehorrendous roll out, and the initial problems withthe operating systems with the computer networks, the Republicans had written off the system as a com-plete failure. They expected the citizens to believetheir fabricated tall tales, even though there were

millions of Americans who needed health insurance.

The Republicans spent all their time trying to repeal a federallaw, that was found constitutional by the Supreme Court, andwould benefit and transform the health care system in the coun-try. By allowing young people to sign up on their parents’ healthinsurance, there were millions of young folks who would haveinsurance while they were in college and others with a part-time job. With this new law the insurance companies would beforced to give Americans with pre-existing conditions a policy, and not refuse them coverage.

Instead of the Republicans acknowledging that there were cer-tain components of the law beneficial to all Americans, theirposition was to scrap and repeal the entire law. Their positionnever made any sense, because it was better to improve a tan-gible law, than have nothing to work with. As the Republicanscontinued to berate and try to destroy the ACA, millions ofAmericans begin to sign up, and register for the programs.

In states where the governors tried to curtail and limit access

to insurance policies, there were still hundreds of thousands ofresidents who still signed up for the ACA on the federal mar-ketplace. Even when governors promoted negative talkingpoints about Obamacare, the residents still signed up.

Most pundits and probably many in the president’s administra-tion did not expect the ACA to hit its targeted projection of 7million by the closing sign up date. At the end of February therewere only 4.2 million citizens enrolled in the ACA. By March the27th there were 6 million signed up and the last day was the31st. Through sheer resolve, and special blessings, the presidentwas able to enroll 7.1 million to make the ACA a success.

The president surprised everyone and now the Republicanswill have to eat distasteful crow, or humble pie. The Republi-cans are speechless and whatever they say will sound dumband stupid. This will be very difficult for the Republicans toswallow, and Obama is ecstatic.

The first statement we can expect from the Republicans is thatthe numbers are wrong, and they cannot trust the president’scalculations. The next excuse they can use is that 20% of theresidents’ signing up has not paid their monthly premiums;therefore they are not official members of the ACA. The Re-publicans will spend weeks finding all the reasons Obama iswrong, instead of saying congratulations and great job.

As the Republicans struggle with being wrong again, it is timefor Democrats to cash in on the success of the ACA. The Demo-crats must embrace the credibility and transformational vi-sion of the president. The ACA is just the beginning of fixing abroken healthcare system, which is too expensive, dysfunc-tional, and does not work in the best interest of its customers.

In the wealthiest country on the planet, every citizen shouldhave access to the best health care system in the world. Ifother countries can give their citizens free healthcare, thereis no reason the United States cannot figure out how to carefor all the people in the country. It makes no sense for thetwo parties to sit around and sabotage each other, insteadof working together to improve the quality of healthcare forall Americans.

s the enrollment period continues to be open for many inthe United States to sign-up for health insurance underthe Affordable Care Act (ACA), many immigrants (legaland illegal) are confused whether they are subject to thedeadlines and fines for non-enrollment. The ACA’shealth insurance “marketplaces” is available only toU.S. citizens and people who are “lawfully present” inthe United States. Undocumented immigrants and

DACA recipients are excluded from the ACA programs but may beeligible for emergency Medicaid or state-funded programs.

An applicant’s citizenship or immigration status will be veri-fied using government databases. The verification’s purpose isto determine the applicant’s eligibility for health insurance, not for immigration enforcement. Applicants who are U.S. citi-zens will have their citizenship verified with the Social SecurityAdministration (SSA) using their SSN. For naturalized citizens,in the event that SSA’s information is not up-to-date, citizen-ship will be verified by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Ser-vices (USCIS). If there are people on your application who aren’tapplying for health coverage, you don’t need to provide theircitizenship or immigration status.

The following list of immigrants are considered “lawfully

present” and eligible for ACA: lawful permanent resident (LPR/Green Card holder), asylee, refugee, Cuban/Haitian entrant, paroled into the U.S., conditional entrant granted before 1980,battered spouse, child, or parent, victim of trafficking and hisor her spouse, child, sibling, or parent, granted Withholdingof Deportation or Withholding of Removal, under the immi-gration laws or under the Convention against Torture (CAT),individual with non-immigrant status (including worker vi-sas, student visas, and citizens of Micronesia, the MarshallIslands, and Palau), Temporary Protected Status (TPS), De-ferred Enforced Departure (DED), Deferred Action Status (De-ferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) isn’t an eligibleimmigration status for applying for health coverage.), Spe-cial Immigrant Juvenile Status, Adjustment to LPR Status withan approved visa petition, Victim of trafficking visa, Asylumwho has either been granted employment authorization, ORis under 14 and has had an application for asylum pendingfor at least 180 days.), and certain individuals with employ-ment authorization document for Registry applicants, Orderof supervision, Applicant for Cancellation of Removal or Sus-pension of Deportation, Applicant for Legalization underIRCA, Applicant for Temporary Protected Status (TPS), Legal-ization under the LIFE Act, Lawful temporary resident, andGranted an administrative stay of removal.

n OverviewGolden Krust Caribbean Bakery & Grill is the brain-child of Ephraim and Mavis Hawthorne; founders ofHawthorne & Son’s Bakery in St. Andrew, Jamaicaand parents of the present owners. The Jamaicanbakery successfully supplied local communities, schools and institutions with a variety of products

such as patties, breads, buns, rock cakes and other baked de-lights. They had no idea then that their dream would one dayblossom into a now global business with 120 stores in ninestates and counting.

Golden Krust as we know it today began in 1989 when Presi-dent & CEO Lowell Hawthorne, his wife Lorna, along with fourof his siblings and their spouses who migrated to the UnitedStates from Jamaica, decided to continue the family traditionstarted by their father. Lowell Hawthorne, a graduate of BronxCommunity College and Lehman College, who was on childcare leave from his accounting job with the NYPD opened thefirst store in a small shop on East Gun Hill Road in the Bronx.

The Golden Krust Bakery became so popular that Lowell leftthe police department to devote his full attention to the busi-ness. By 1996 the family owned seventeen (17) stores through-out New York City and Connecticut. The business became sosuccessful that the Hawthorne’s were encouraged to create fran-chises. In that same year, Golden Krust became the first Carib-bean-owned business in the U.S. to be granted a franchise li-cense. The pivotal year of 1996 also signified the relocation ofthe manufacturing operations to the South Bronx, and theeventual purchase of the entire block from 172nd Street toClaremont Parkway on Park Avenue. This move was neces-sary because the business and its franchises had begun to growso rapidly that the small Gun Hill Road store could no longerkeep pace with the demand.

Today, Golden Krust Caribbean Bakery & Grill is serving upauthentic Caribbean cuisine in the states of New York, NewJersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Florida, Maryland,Massachusetts and North Carolina. The company plans toexpand to several other states within the next five years.

The Golden Krust franchise concept has evolved over the yearsand now encompasses a wider variety of Caribbean fare in-cluding Jamaican-style patties (turnovers) which are availablein eight different flavors. It is the Jamaican-style patty thatGolden Krust has become synonymous for in the United States, having established a distinctly home-made taste of freshly sea-soned beef, chicken, shrimp, vegetable, and soy and spinachfillings wrapped in a flaky baked crust. Following closely onthe heels of the patty was the addition of sumptuous Carib-bean meals to the menu, including but not limited to, delica-cies such as braised oxtail, curry goat, jerk chicken served upwith rice and peas and vegetables.

Honors & AwardsThe success of the company can be attributed to the visionaryleadership of its President Lowell Hawthorne. Golden Krusthas caught the attention of many major media players andhas been featured on Fox 5 News, WABC-TV, New York 1 andon CNN. Extensive features have also been written about thecompany in Forbes Magazine, The New York Times, New YorkDaily News, QSR Magazine, Black Enterprise Magazine, Crain’sNew York Business Magazine and several local and commu-nity newspapers.

In 1995 Forbes Magazine featured Golden Krust as one of the

he energy and enthusiasm of the 2014 FCSA Confer-ence was unbelievable; students arrived by the busload, wearing the flags of their home country withpride but celebrating the moment as a united body

of Caribbean students. The energy could be felt andheard for miles when Machel Montano gave a few ren-ditions of his award winning songs during his keynotespeech and again during the Country roll call – it was

a proud moment to see the future generations of Caribbeanleaders waiving their National flags while also proudly repre-senting their universities.

In an interview with Machel Montano, he summarized hismessage in a few meaningful words “I want the students tounderstand that there is nothing they can’t do if they believein themselves, unite and innovate” Machel told the studentsstories about his journey from birth, being stillborn (born with-out a heart rate and/or not breathing), to setting a new record

after winning the 2014 Power Monarch, becoming the first art-ist/ performer to win a total of four titles.

The conference was attended by local government officials, con-sulate generals, business professionals, student advisors andmany many more.

In the closing words of the Florida Caribbean Students Asso-ciation Advisor & Miami attorney Mr. Marlon Hill …”This con-ference was an epic opportunity for students from around theState of Florida and visiting schools to hear from a Caribbeancultural and artistic icon of contemporary time. In addition tomeeting and engaging with an inspiring mix of great work-shop speakers, the students received an authentic speech fromMachel about seeking a sense of purpose in life, embracingyour faith and spirituality, and working collaboratively amongyour peers and cultures. It was a historic moment in theorganization’s history.”

nd Time Sabbath Worship Centerunder the leadership of PastorRonald Jean-Baptiste at 2150Brengle Ave in Orlando celebratedseven years of struggles to reach aplace of praise. The weekend ofMarch 21-23 2014 was an experi-

ence of astronomical proportion filled withpraises to God, a live concert with the

Altonio Brothers from New York City and a meal packing party.Congratulations are in order for those who were courageousenough to set out, fight and gave of their time and money toreach this momentous mile stone.

They have been faithfully giving free groceries, free clothes, citizen classes, high school prep classes even during their timeof need. This weekend was no exception. They started thecelebration with a praise service and an “Agape Dinner” whichconsisted of many varieties of fruits and fresh bread and but-ter. Their voices rang out far beyond the walls of the gatheringroom. Talents of singing and dancing demonstrated the joythat was in bedded within them. Creole was spoken with muchease followed by the translation to English which gave the ul-

receive the bounty to be distributed in their local communi-ties and through Second Harvest Food Bank with their par-ticipating agencies.

End Time is truly a place of prayer because they have seenanswers to prayers to accomplish all these activities with lessthan a month of planning. Derrick Wallace, candidate forOrange County District Six raise his hands in support and ad-miration to this church because of their determination, zealand perseverance to being “Community Builders”.

I am a first hand witness to this church’s struggles as they reachfurther into the community with gifts to the homeless, themotherless and they have totally embraced those living in thewoods as their family. It was warming for me to participatewith them by offering a free wedding to a homeless couple(who has since found jobs and an apartment) and funerals tochildren who lost both their parents within months of eachother. Or, to pay for a hotel room for a family who lost every-thing when they themselves are struggling to pay the mort-gage for the church. Their accomplishments allow them tobrag but instead, a party of volunteers conversed upon themwith willing hands from as far away as Deltona, St. Cloud andClermont to show their support. Their actions goes far beyondbeing “takers” but “givers” to keep the vision of “serving oth-

Sometimes a church’s anniversary can be seen as a time tomeet, greet and share reflective stories. This celebrationweekend was no different because the thirty founding mem-bers remembered meeting in a church on Orange Center Blvdfor a year and then to a church building on Pine Hills Roadbefore relocating to their present facility with fifteen hun-dred visitors at their inaugural service three years ago. Thejoy of occupying a one hundred thousand square feet manu-facturing building soon got challenging when the congre-gation split. The challenge of maintaining this large facil-ity with less than a third of themembers has been a challengebut God has showed him selffaithful by sustaining them ontheir faith to believe that “Hecan”. This anniversary celebra-tion magnifies the presence of theLord and exemplified their pur-pose to worship Him and servingthe community. They were satis-fied that they are in a very goodplace, a place of praise even witha few bruises.

This celebration could have beenrepeated at every church in Cen-tral Florida but what stood outfrom all the rest was the food pack-ing party they organized and in-vited the religious communitiesand several civic organizations toparticipate is packing a total offifty three thousand, nine hundredand fifty two meals. Each organi-zation were then invited back to

ers” alive. Their struggles have become “our” triumphs be-cause they are no longer hidden but are exposed because of allthe good they have contributed to others.

LEADING LADIES BEHIND THE SCENESAND ON THE FRONT LINE

Nouchelle Hastings: “Girl What Do You Bring to the Table?”Nouchelle Hastings: “Girl What Do You Bring to the Table?”Nouchelle Hastings: “Girl What Do You Bring to the Table?”Nouchelle Hastings: “Girl What Do You Bring to the Table?”Nouchelle Hastings: “Girl What Do You Bring to the Table?”

Welcome to my column on Leading Ladies behind the Scenes. Our column will introduce you to leadingladies who have branded their own recognition and blazed their own trails. These ladies work behindthe scenes but manage the front line with high impact results. You might have heard their namesor admired their work, but never met them up close and personal. Our column will give you thechance to meet these ladies so you can place a face with the name and their trendsetting work in ourcommunity, various organizations and in business. Thank you for celebrating their value with us.

Asian, the Hispanic, Brazilian…..you get where I’m going. Likeeveryone knows Mike, everyone knows G and if you don’t, thenyou should and will. You will know her because she will notstop doing what makes the world better and that is giving loveand being positive; not to mention she is a wealth of knowl-edge and intellect.

There are many things I could share about herprofessional life, but you see that on displaydaily. She is the backbone to what I call thecamel hump businesses – once she connectswith it, the business grows exponentially.

Guenet who I refer often to as Boss Lady be-cause I see us like Lovita and Regina from theSteve Harvey Show stands out because of hermatter of fact ways – there are no two ways orfaces about it; either it is or it isn’t and neverwill you make her compromise her friends orbelief to get ahead.

Guenet is the best debater I know. If you bringa situation to her she will go hhmm yeah, Isee, ok and listen closely only to say OK nowwhat do you think about this or what if it’sactually this or have you looked at it from . . .next is a series of facts followed by let’s talkabout this some more in detail after you thinkabout it. I love it and I love Guenet. I love

Guenet because she is a trusted source who puts in overtime toour community and double overtime to her family. Her fatherbosses her around, (she doesn’t fuss back), her children arrangesher schedule (she gives them the eye), her husband bigs her up(she bigs him back) – I just love Guenet; I mean who doesn’tlove her because she is the embodiment of amazing! If shewas a television show it would be ‘Modern Marvels Retro’.

It’s an amazing time for Guenet in that it’s the month of herbirth and thus it’s befitting that we celebrate this Leading Ladywith well wishes and compliments for a job well done and forher continued alliance to the community and for her excellentshowmanship in her publication and marketing companies. In borrowing a line from the Golden Girls “Thank you for be-ing a friend traveled down the road and back again, your heartis true you’re a pal and a confidant ….I’m not ashamed to sayI hope it always will stay this way - my hat is off, won’t youstand up and take a bow. And if you threw a party invitedeveryone you knew; you would see, the biggest gift would befrom me and the card attached would say, Thank you for be-ing a friend!”

To connect with Guenet email her at [email protected] / toconnect with Girl What Do You Bring to the Table.com or [email protected]

Guenet Gittens-Roberts, Executive, Publisher, Community AdvocateGuenet Gittens-Roberts, Executive, Publisher, Community AdvocateGuenet Gittens-Roberts, Executive, Publisher, Community AdvocateGuenet Gittens-Roberts, Executive, Publisher, Community AdvocateGuenet Gittens-Roberts, Executive, Publisher, Community Advocateave you ever asked yourself if you believe in coin-cidence or divine connections? Coincidence is aremarkable concurrence of events or circumstanceswithout apparent causal connection. Divine Con-nection means of, relating to, or proceeding directlyfrom God or a godly thing. Whichever is your pref-erence there is always that one thing to make yourealize that the events of your lifeor encounter are way beyond

your doing. I believe strongly that coinci-dences are Divine Connections.

This was the case when I met Guenet Gittens-Roberts. I remember the day so well as I wassitting at the counter of my kitchen thinkingabout this woman I had casually met in pass-ing. I was thinking how pleasant she wasand how very proper her cultural accent; wellhonestly I was trying to decipher where shewas from. It was at that moment I saw di-vine numbers flash across my call screen witha sequence of 1 and 8’s. These numbers havebeen a guide post in my life; they have comeat every major juncture, decision, event, apartments, lot number of home, my birth-day, my mother’s birthday, partners, etc. justso many times these numbers surround me.One day I was driving on the highway medi-tating and I asked God, how will I know whenyou are giving me the go ahead in situations and just thenan 18 wheeler cut across me. I was getting ready to get an-noyed and blow my horn but he had 118 hugely written acrossthe back door and I burst into laughter. I get it God; in situa-tions in my life, like the Footprints in the Sand, you haveappeared in the 1 and 8 sequence.

I rushed to answer the call because I could only imagine whatopportunity was ahead of us. Two women brought together inpassing was now talking on the phone and brainstorming overideas as if we were old mates from Brooklyn or Guyana – it wasmagical and trust from day one and neither have ever beenbetrayed or regretted that moment.

When one thinks about Guenet ‘Oh My God’ and ‘Bloody Heck’comes to mind….lol; it’s a continuous roll of laughter becauseshe is such a burst of fun and pleasure. But in the midst of thefun and pleasure is a very serious community minded personwho is forever and constantly thinking on how she can presenteveryone in a ‘positive light’. I recall when she and Sam de-cided the paper was a go it was because she realized that theonly way to control how the light can shine on various peoplewas to put it in print and thus one unselfish act has caused thesuccess of many people. One unselfish act has placed her namein not just the Caribbean households but in the American, the

K, de headline is a little misleadin’: is mo’like “How Fih Look Good Wid Li’l Bit aClothes On”. After all, as far as de la-dies go, goin’ from “li’l bit a clothes on”to naked ain’t really providing more in-formation, and any new information

provided pon de men dem …. Well, ain’no machine in de gym could do anyting

bout dat!

But to step back a bit, de reason fih writing dis is dat while, inde las’ 2 articles, we defined “fit” as being physically preparedfor “your race”, whatever it is, and den we say mos’ people“race” is just fuh live a long and healthy life, some peoplemight want a little bit more. An’ I suspect a lot of people wan’achieve dat goal in de title – or at leas’ de li’l bit a clothes ting.So leh we talk bout dat lickle bit.

De title seh “Part 1”. De reason fuh dat is because I feel it’snecessary to bring in some backgroun’. I like to understandwhy I doin’ anything I doin’, and I figure mos’ people stay sotoo. So here we go ……

Fuh mos a we, lookin’ good naked means we gots to lose somefat. Almos’ all a we also got to gain some muscle. And there aremillions of ways to make dem two tings happen. I’ve tried manyof them myself .. still tryin’ really. My current belief follows what’scalled “Paleo” or “primal” eating/lifestyle. If you’ve never heardabout it, dis article is an intro. I’m gonna be sloppy today and notput in a link to support everyt’ng ah seh, but most of the support-ing info can be found at one of these sites: www.marksdailyapple,www.robbwolf.com, http://ultimate paleoguide.com/.

Essentially, de Paleo folks feel dat humans were at their

physical prime during the Paleolithic era (from about 2.6million years ago to about 10,00 years ago). Fossil recordsindicate that men at that time were on average about 5’9”,which don’t sound like a lot, except that it then declinedconsistently, to about 5’ 3”, following the advent of agri-culture until finally rising again to be about roughly thesame as back in the Paleo era. The theory is dat the ad-vent of agriculture brought about a major diet and lifestylechange that was less than optimal for human health, growth and development.

So, wha’ was de differences? Fus, Paleo man was a hunter-

Paleo transformations

gatherer, so 1. Lotsa walking, following prey 2. Bursts of in-tense sprinting to catch the prey 3. Eating mostly meat (andmostly raw!) and fruits like berries dat dey come across asdey walk, or nuts. After agriculture was adopted, folks settledown, stayed in one place, started eating mostly grains, andmeat was a rarity. So Paleo folks feel seh dat dis explains abig part of the decline in stature and general health mark-ers (the fossil records indicate more tooth decay and weakerbone densities for humans after the advent of agriculture).Dey also seh dat we haven’t adapted to this change, as 10,000years ain’t enough time to effect the change. Evolution is aslow process.

Given this background, the Paleo advocates suggest tryingto eat and live as close to dis as possible. Based on personalresults, dey see that this way of eating and living providesmuch improved health benefits over the usual US diet (re-ferred to as SAD – Standard American Diet) and lifestyle(referred to as sittin’ pon yuh fat ass everyday)! It alsoachieves (they claim) better results than the usual low fat, plant based advice.

My personal experience is dat dis way is a better way dan delow fat ting. I spent years avoiding red meat, and any fat Icould find, and while I never did blow up too big, I never didsee no 6-pack neither! Now, at de ripe old age of 50 something(mih nah tell ayuh/allyuh/unna/wunna zackly how ol’!), mihgot one, or at leas’ a 4 pack, mos’ a de time.

Now yuh might be aksin’: wha kinda ting Paleo does eat? Mybreakfast, as an example, is either eggs, bacon, smokedsalmon, corned beef, all fry up in coconut oil (coconut oil is abig ting wid Paleo folks), and always wid onion, green pepperand grape tomatoes. Sometimes ah might add lickle almondsto de mix. Everything should be as close to de farm as pos-sible, and organic wherever feasible{ no preservatives, anti-biotics and tings like dat). Lunch would be any kinda meat(yes, includin’ pork: ise a different kinda Dread. New AgeRastafari!) wid tings like broccoli, cauliflower, spinach, tur-nips and suh. No rice, potatoes, or wheat products (pasta).Dinner Is basically de same as lunch, but smaller. In betweenmeals, some kinda high protein food, or nuts. Yuh really ain’t

givin’ up much interms of taste, al-though we all got weting we gon miss.Fuh me, droppin’bread was a haardhard something!! Butde res a de diet doesmek up fuh dat. Tobe able to eatstraight ribs, or asteak, or a goat curry(or is it currygoat?)…..priceless!

As I read more boutPaleo, de debatepickin’ up within de

community about whether Paleo Man was really low carb, andwhether that’s really the way to go. Regardless, de one ting allPaleo folks agree wid is dis: check tings out fuh yuhself. We alldifferent. Some a we gon do great wid low carb. Some will needmore carbs. Find your ting. I believe almost everyone whostrugglin’ to lose weight will lose it on a low carb diet, andmost people don’ even want to go back to nuff carbs after-ward. Oh, and above all else: avoid sugar like de plague! Datone ain got no exceptions.

(Part 2 gon deal wid de odda part a dis: wha exercise regimengon really mek de body look good nekkid)
