Forsyth HouseForsyth House is a 39 apartment Assisted Living

Forsyth House is located in the historical city

of Milton, Florida. Milton was settled in the early

1800’s as a small village centered on the lumber

industry. Incorporated as a city in 1844, the

settlement was originally known as “Scratch

Ankle” because of the briars and bramble that

grew in the area.

Milton is home to Naval Air Station Whiting Field

which was constructed during World War II

and commissioned on July 16th, 1943 by Rear

Admiral George D. Murray and the widow of

Captain Kenneth Whiting, after whom the station

was named.

Milton’s close proximity to the area’s Gulf

National Seashore, local Military bases and

abounding in history are all reasons that Seniors

looking for a caring community are drawn to the

Forsyth House.

Many Seniors are prohibited in fully experiencing

the joys of life because of physical or medical

limitations brought on by age. The staff at

kitchen preparing and serving a wide variety

Director plans events, outings and activities for

by a Licensed Nurse Resident Care Director. The

caring staff provide personalized care and peace

of mind.
