• The mandate of IDS is to integrate the development of sport and development through sport activities in order to build national sport system capacity and promote community and social development throughout the Commonwealth.

• Ensures that each Commonwealth Games Association can achieve maximum performance through the placement of interns, organisational information systems development, knowledge sharing and networking.

•The CSP interns will assist countries with sport administration activities ranging from programming, fundraising and communications to the implementation of the games management software program Zeus.
