The Centre has two venues:-

Camel Lane Theatre

A 310 seat proscenium arch theatre. Alternates as a

cinema; by means of a roll down screen.

The Woolshed

A multi-purpose hall with kitchen and bar. Cabaret style

table seating for 200-250. Band PA and backline.

*The Woolshed does not have air-conditioning; it has six large fan-operated air vents in the ceiling

Suitable for basic functions and small entertainment events: Please note that the Woolshed does not

have air-conditioning; it has six large, fan-controlled, ceiling mounted air-vents.

A 450* capacity general purpose hall with kitchen and improvised bar facilities for occasional

licensed events. We have 30 x trestle tables, 10 x large round, and approx. 300 chairs on site. If

more is required please contact our staff. (*The absolute maximum chair only audience capacity is

400; for tables and chairs we recommend the maximum practical capacity of 250.)

The room can be divided in half by full length black wool curtain. This curtain is tracked to hang at

the rear of the room to act as an acoustic baffle for music events.

The stage is 60 cm high x 9.6 meters wide x 4.8 meters deep and has 3 sets of moveable steps. The

black wool curtain backdrop is hand-operated, and opens to reveal a white wall for projection if

required.

An excellent sound system, microphones and stands, CD player and data projector are provided. If

back line is required please contact our venue technician.

Full colour stage lighting washes are provided by a standard LED rig. Profiles are available for special

lighting areas. If a larger lighting rig is required please contact our venue technician.

There is a four-to-six person dressing room/shower/toilet facility backstage.

Load-in access is at the stage end of the hall via standard double doors directly off a large car park.

The hall is 26.3 meters long x 18.9 meters wide x 4.5 meters high.

The stage is 9.6 meters wide x 4.8 meters deep x 60cm high. There are three sets of moveable steps.

Total of 40 sends/8 returns from FOH mixing position to stage

Yamaha P-105 digital piano with stand and sustain pedal,

Marshal MG101CFX 100W guitar amp (1 x 12" speaker),

Ampeg BA115HP 220W bass amp (1 x 15" speaker),

Roland Cube 40GX amp,

Mapex rock drum kit and stool. (Q-Series 12” + 13” + 16” toms, 22” bass drum). Snare, hi-hat, 3 x

Lighting

Lighting is controlled by laptop using DMXIS

1 x Jands 12 Channel Dimmer Pack used to control house light Fresnels, mirror-ball pin spots and a 4-

way festoon chase. There are four 650W profiles available for specials.

Full stage washes, front, back and high top sides are provided by RGBWA LED’s. There are four 60W

scanners.

Standard Lighting Rig

Projection Equipment

1 x Epson EB–U04 H763B LCD projector (3000 lumens). Ceiling mounted with lighting hook clamps and

can be operated from the stage or the rear of the hall by 15 pin VGA data cable. You can use your

laptop, or hire ours. Please let us know if you need sound from the laptop.
