Interconnectivity and a Closed SystemTrue ValueOur current system undervalues resources in order to maintain the artificially low cost of goods.• The Earth is a closed system with a fixed

number of resources. When those resources are gone they are gone forever. • While the possibility to get more resources

from off Earth exists, it will never be economically feasible.

The only conclusion that can be reached is that continuing to undervalue resources for short term gain risks our long term survival!

The Cascading EffectIn a closed system everything is, irrefutably, both interconnected and interdependent. The first step is understanding the cascading effects of our current actions.

In an interdependent and interconnected system, when one thing is changed all other things are affected.

A tipping point is being reached where these indiscriminant changes are cascading into irreversible environmental degradation.

Transition is KeyMuch of what holds back the changes that need to occur is the message/belief/assumption that we need to switch from what we have now to where we need to be... On/Off.Change is not a switch but a transition, it always has been. The Industrial Revolution was just such a transition, taking over 200 years. The need in this Transition is to accelerate the timeframe… The Need is for Agents of Change

Agents of Coordination

The Clean Technology Trade Alliance (CTTA) is an Agent of Coordination, a new type on organization that facilitates the paradigm shift toward sustainability by sustainability through implementation of unique projects. CTTA is defining a unique approach to solving the very complex problem we are facing today. CTTA identifies problems, then develops a concept to address both the symptoms and the causative issues. CTTA identifies and engages stakeholders in the solution process with businesses that come together in innovative business coalitions and partner with the stakeholder/customer in addressing the issues holistically.

Agent of Coordination

• Identifying issues that can be addressed in a holistic and sustainable way that addresses causative as well as symptomatic problems and have clearly defined stakeholders.

• Researching the problem with the goal to completely understand both causative and symptomatic issues and how they relate.

• Identifying potential stakeholders and funding sources.• Analyzing the complete environment in which the problem occurs and brainstorming potential holistic,

sustainable answers. Working through scenarios by potential and probability until a well-defined decision point is reached. YES-NO

• If YES defining the solution and begin validation process. If NO disengaging with appropriate closure.• Identifying companies that can deliver the necessary designs, technology and services that also have the

critical philosophical, ethical and professional capacity to engage in the business coalitions identified and formed by CTTA.

The Clean Technology Trade Alliance is the Agent of Coordination for CASA projects.
