The 300mm elliptical blades were mounted between protruding steel arms supplied and installed by EDS, fixed back to structural steelwork on 3m centres to match the glazing lines. The solar shading had to span nearly 17.5m, so EDS supplied the solar shading in cassette form for ease of installation, each panel being approx. 3.0m long x 1.4m wide. Installation was carried out from MEWPs.
