OTE TV offers the richest and most integrated sports program in the Greek market, featuring exclusively 44 tournaments; 11 sports channels; 8 sport shows; and more than 50 live broad-casts per week in all kinds of sports. Since February 2015, ΟΤΕ SPORT tv shows have been broadcasting from new studios of international standards, with OTE TV continuing to upgrade its subscribers’ TV experience. The new facilities come with state-of-the-art equipment, as well as the potential to produ-ce programs directly in High Definition.
Eyevis Greek partner Bon Studio was invited to present a con-cept for Video Walls, which comply different prerequisites and would be part of the new scene. After a particularly demanding bidding process with intense competition Bon Studio and eye-vis succeeded in undertaking this reference project.

The prerequisites were that the monitors present perfect high quality and high resolution pictures and have also anti-reflective surface in order to prevent any shining on the screen when the lights in the studios would be switched on. Additionally, the be-zel from screen to screen should be minimized.

Bon Studio completed the relevant study and suggested the installation of eyevis LCD monitors type EYE-LCD-5500-XSN-LD with the corresponding matrix and mountings. With sophisti-cated technical features the EYE-LCD-5500-XSN-LD are tailored to the demanding requirements in the TV studios. Outstanding display characteristics, best brightness and contrast values paired with several new features for the electronics make the new EYE-LCD-5500-XSN-LD a first choice for modern video walls in professional applications.
Overall, the quantity offered amounts to 36 monitors which comprise 6 video walls in total with the following layouts:
• One Video Wall with 6 × 3 monitor layout • Two Video Walls with 2 × 2 monitor layout • One Video Wall with 4 × 1 monitor layout • One Video Wall with 3 × 1 monitor layout

All video walls reproduce Video and graphics via a central server video unit.
The installation and commissioning were completed successful-ly by Bon Studio in collaboration with technical support from eyevis in Germany.
