COMMERCIAL SOLAR INSTALLATION, AN IMPORTANT RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCE FOR THIS CUSTOM PLASTICS INJECTION MOLDER.

Advance Plastics is a high volume producer of custom injection molded plastic for mane industries. Their state of the art facility has been dedicated to producing the finest parts, at the lowest prices since 1978.

Historically California businesses have experienced the highest electricity rate growth in the country. In recent years many California businesses have seen their rates more than double.

Revel installed a 287 kW system consisting of 728 solar panels supported by 397 power optimizers funneling into 7 inverters. The system is expected to produce $4.4M of electricity in its 30-year lifespan.

The 250 kW/548 kWh Sungrow energy storage system is supported by Athena AI, Stem’s intelligent software solution that optimizes energy allocation.

Taking advantage of multiple benefits and programs like the Solar Investment Tax Credit (ITC) and Net Energy Metering (NEM), Advance Plastics’ new system offsets 41% of their electricity use by earning credits for overproduction during the day that pays for use at night when the system isn’t producing.

Advance Plastics looks toward a bright future with a smaller carbon footprint and much lower energy costs.

Revel Energy’s team of commercial and agricultural solar specialists offer turnkey solutions for California businesses to lower their electricity costs ultimately increasing cash flow.

Advance Plastics wanted to take control of the electricity cost with commercial solar so they teamed up with Revel Energy to design a custom commercial solar system for their facility in National City.

Revel’s project managers got started, working with National City and San Diego County authorities and code enforcement to collect the necessary certifications.
