►See info boards in the forest for posted regulations. ►The Tahuya is a working forest, not a designated ORV park. Additional income comes from brush picking leases. Please stay on trails to avoid damage to these valuable resources.►Trails provide opportunities for motorcycles, ATVs, hikers, horseback riders, mountain bikers and 4x4 / Side-by-Sides. Respect all forms of recreation while in the forest.►Hunters may be present during WDFW Hunting Seasons.►TARGET SHOOTING is permitted, in accordance with WAC#332-52-145 unless posted otherwise. ►Many of the trails are tight and narrow and are maintained in a manner to provide a primitive trail experience. There are numerous blind turns. Horses, mountain bikes and hikers should always be anticipated. Trails are moved from time to time to increase user enjoyment and for fish & wildlife protection. PLEASE RIDE DEFENSIVELY.

TRAILS• ALL trails are TWO-WAY and MULTIPLE USE. • STAY ON DESIGNATED TRAILS. Going off existing trails

is not permitted.• NEVER RIDE ALONE, bring a friend!

Know your route. Carry a GPS and CELL PHONE.• USE CAUTION. Have fun, but ride within your limits.• No motorized use one hour after sunset or one hour before sunrise.• Drug & alcohol laws apply to everyone. DO NOT DRINK/DRUG AND RIDE.• FOLLOW POSTED RULES. Not all roads are open to ORVs.• NO RIDING IN DITCHES, cut banks on county roads,

or on forest roads posted CLOSED.• DO NOT RIDE ACROSS STREAMS, along lakes or in wetlands.• SPEED LIMITS – Forest roads 25 MPH. This includes all motorized

vehicles. Ride only to enter and exit sites.

• All 4x4 trails are signed with PURPLE diamonds.• The WIDTH LIMIT for all trails and bridges, not including the

4 x 4 trail system, is 48 inches. Width limit on 4 x 4 trails is 96 inches. ATVs, side-by-sides and 4 x 4 vehicles are not allowed on single-track trails.

• ORVS MUST HAVE CURRENT ORV TABS and/or an ORV license plate. USFS-approved spark arrestor is mandatory.

• WHEN APPROACHING HORSEBACK RIDERS, pull over, shut off your engine and talk to the riders.

• RESPECT the land, wildlife and the rights of others. DO NOT ENTER trails that are closed.• WATCH for difficult conditions and unmarked hazards.

Trail conditions can change rapidly and unexpectedly.• WATCH for logging and other forest vehicles.

CAMPSITES• FIRES ARE ONLY ALLOWED in designated DNR metal fire pits.• Campsites are ONLY for recreational purposes.• DAY USERS – Please do not park in overnight sites.• NO FIREWORKS. • Stays are limited as posted.• NO FIREWOOD CUTTING OR GATHERING. • NO GARBAGE SERVICE PROVIDED. Pack it in, pack it out. • QUIET HOURS are 10pm to 7am, including generators.• TAHUYA RIVER HORSE CAMP is ONLY for NON-MOTORIZED USE
