• Identification and listing of resource centers and mouse databases √

• Direct contacts with scientific responsible persons

• Cataloguing database structures, working practices and long term goals

• Exploring “cost-recovery” business model and financial sustainability for their core activities. This WP will assess how the lessons learned might be applied to database sustainability.

Deliverables

D16: Report of the range of material resources available and how

they might be accessed, including a guide on finding information on

those resources using database queries. Published in the literature

and on the web. This will include a report on potential for adoption

by databases of business models developed by existing Resource

centres.

activities and internal reporting on findings
