WHY DO TEACHERS TEACH?
Teaching is more than just a job. It’s a way to reach to people at a stage where their minds and opinions are still being formed. It’s a method of sharing a subject/ our faith that fires imagination and creativity
FOR THE BEST,
And it’s a way of passing knowledge, helping to ensure that the next generation will be better educated, more caring, and more committed than the last.
Every good teacher has his or her own answer to that question, and most of these answers share one feeling:
“the joy of that moment when understanding dawns and the teacher knows that the student
has, at last, learned”.
A Catechist is a person who facilitates the process of faith formation. 1) echoing the Word of
God in his or her own life,
2) by helping others to do so.

Think of your lesson as a movement: you
want to move learners from where they are to where
Jesus wants them to be.
