Working with Years 7 and 8 (aged 12-14) Humpybong State School - Pre-expo careers session 4 x 25 minute classes of year 7s (one composite year 6/7 class) Aim: To get students thinking about their interests and how they relate to various industries and occupations Brief overview of career decision-making (e.g., DOTS model) Interest test and discussion of interest categories Linking interest categories to occupations that will be represented at the careers expo
