The CDC German Language course aims at preparing students for admission into engineering/applied science degree course at German Fachhochsculen (Universities of Applied Sciences) upon successful completion of the Australian Matriculation Programme (AUSMAT).
Benefits of studying in Germany:• Germany has become one of Malaysia’s largest trading partners in Europe. More than 400 German companies are currently operating in Malaysia.• There are more than 400 universities and universities of applied sciences in Germany offering about 16,000 different degree courses.• Germany is among three countries worldwide with the largest foreign student population.• Studying in Germany is very hands-on and practical.• Finally, studying in Germany is free. There are no tuition fees for German and international students. Duration: 18 months at First City UC and 8 months at Carl Duisberg Centren (CDC), Germany

Entry Requirement: SPM / GCE O Level (Science): At least Grade B in English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology
Module 1 (July until December - Conducted in First City UC)• 6 months intensive German language course (Level A1, A2, B1-1) with a native speaker
Module 2 (January until December - Conducted in First City UC)• 12-months Western Australian Matriculation Course (AUSMAT) Subjects: German language (Level B1-2, B2-1), English as an additional language, Mathematics Specialist, Mathematics Methods, Physics & Chemistry
Module 3 (January until August - Conducted in CDC, Germany)
• 4-week intensive German language course• 5-months preparation course for the Eligibility Test (German universities entrance qualification) Subjects: German language (Level B2-2, C1), Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry• Extensive educational counselling and personal mentoring• Placement of internships in German companies (duration: 8 weeks)• Placement at Universities of Applied Sciences all over Germany
