I have a place in Heaven, with the Master at my side. My life on earth was very good, as earthly lives can go But paradise is so much more than anyone can know. Bette’s Life JourneyBette Ruth (nee’ Sanders) Robinson was born November 17, 1923, in Enid, Oklahoma to Nick and Eunice Ruth Sanders. She accepted Christ at an early age, and remained active in church until she accepted her calling as a missionary as a young adult at Unity Village in Lee Summit, Missouri. She experienced much joy by spreading the gospel and helping families and children who lived in impoverished conditions throughout the country by teaching them about Jesus and exposing them to the best education that was available in their area. She loved to read and tell stories, which was passed down to several generations. Besides Bette Ruth’s missionary work, she worked as a court reporter and served under the same judge for over 20 years. Her love of dolls opened doors that influenced her decision to open her own doll company, “Gretchen Wild Rose” selling antique and rare dolls. Bette Ruth later married and fell in love with John (Stu’) Robinson. They each brought lots of love and blessed children to this union as well as added to their family. She never met a stranger, and continued to be an inspiration until her health failed. Although she was unable to be as active during the past few years, visiting with her family and friends brought much happiness. Bette was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Connie, and son Oran Jr. She leaves to cherish her memories: husband, John Stu’ Robinson, daughters: Ruth Tarlton and Ann Tarlton, grandchildren: Robin Broussard (Darelle), Jennifer (Chris), and Stephanie Tarlton, great-grandchildren: Christian, Lyria, Xiya, Amiah, Brylee, and Gabrielle Broussard; and hosts of other relatives and friends.
