The Hamilton Place package features the exclusive use of the Hamilton Place venue and the restored historic home built in 1852. All are surrounded by beautifully manicured gardens, ceremonial lawn, pristine lake, courtyards, and a spacious terrace.

Hamilton House has two, quaint antique suites that sleep up to six guests and ample space for dressing areas, hair and makeup stations for the bridal party, plus living spaces for entertaining family and friends. The magnificent home also provides beautiful spaces and vignettes for photography and videography, including a large natural light sunroom, several majestic fireplaces, an impressive 12-foot-wide hallway and foyer, and stately front porch and stairwell.

The grand ballroom and banquet facility features large, open spaces with exposed beams and furnishings that mirror the sophistication and Southern style of the historic home. The banquet hall boasts its grand atmosphere with 20-foot vaulted ceilings, two 7-foot, round chandeliers, and a gracious 3,500 square feet of event space. The glassed front porch expands across the front of the building and adds an additional 800 square feet. The 26-acre venue allows multiple options for both the ceremony and reception and can be customized for your special day. The venue accommodates up to 200 guests seated and up to 450 guests walking around the facility.

The Barn provides incredible views of the pristine Appalachian Mountain foothills, which create a perfect backdrop for an unforgettable event. HISTORIC HAMILTON HOUSE The Hamilton House was built in 1852 and is listed on the National Register of Historical Places. Along with the two suites for up to six guests, this magnificent Southern home features a downstairs kitchen and den, sun room, seven fireplaces and an impressive 12-foot-wide hallway. A beautiful new deck spills off the back sunroom and into the gardens. The stately home is a photographers dream with ample places for incredible bridal portraits.

CABINS AND COTTAGES

Both feature four guest suites each with an incredible view of the property, two queen beds, and a spacious, private bath. They also feature a cozy common area perfectly suited for relaxing with family and friends. PARKER LODGE

The lodge features eight deluxe suites and a total of 16 beds, great room, game room, and full kitchen with dining room for private catering. With its majestic stone fireplaces and scenic views, this is the perfect place to host your family and guests for your wedding weekend.

THE ORVIS® FARMHOUSE

This remodeled historic home is one of our newest accommodations. It has three bedrooms, a master bedroom with one king and private bath downstairs, and two bedrooms with two double beds each upstairs that share a bathroom. The home also has a large cozy den with a fireplace and authentic farm kitchen for private catering.

FARMLINKS—AWARD-WINNING GOLF

FarmLinks Golf Course, voted the number one all-access course in Alabama for the last five years, encompasses a one-of-a-kind environment, gently sculpted and beautifully designed. PURSELL FARMS AMENITIES

The wedding party and guests have the opportunity to enjoy the many activities offered at Pursell Farms during their stay including golf, shooting, fishing, and spa services. Reservations for all amenities must be received at least four weeks in advance and are based on availability.

THE SPRING HOUSE—SPA SERVICES

The Spring House, the boutique spa at Pursell Farms, offers a variety of services to treat and pamper your friends and family during your wedding festivities. THE ORVIS® SHOOTING GROUNDS

The world-class ORVIS® Shooting Grounds at Pursell Farms is another incredible amenity for your family and friends to enjoy during their stay. Wedding Sales Contract and Payments

A non-refundable deposit equal to 25% of your wedding package in your signed sales contract will hold the dates, event spaces, and rooms booked and listed in the contract. This non-refundable deposit will be applied to the total cost of the wedding festivities. An additional deposit will be paid equal to 50% of the estimated cost for the wedding festivities set forth in the Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) at the time of the bridal tasting no later than 90 days prior to the wedding. The remaining balance and final payment is due 14 days prior to the wedding weekend. All accommodations and incidentals will be paid the morning you check out of your rooms. Any remaining balances on your food and beverage packages will be due no later than one week after your wedding.

Bridal Tasting

The Wedding Services Manager will discuss menus for the wedding reception and festivities and then set a date for the Bridal Tasting with the chef based on the chef’s availability. Tastings will include a specified sampling of the menu and wedding cakes to enable final selections. The menus will be finalized at least 90 days before the wedding.

Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)

Once the final menu and estimated headcount is confirmed, the BEOs will be generated along with banquet checks totaling the food and beverage costs. Half of the total payment is due at the signing of the BEO. The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to the wedding weekend. Any remaining balances on your food and beverage packages will be due no later than one week after your wedding.

Final Walk-Thru and Planning Meeting

The Final Walk-Thru and Planning Meeting will be scheduled two weeks before the wedding. All details of the festivities for the weekend will be discussed and the final payment due. All floor plans and room layouts of the event spaces must be finalized and approved at this time. Any changes from this date forth will incur an administrative fee of $100. All outstanding or additional charges incurred with respect to the festivities will be billed and/or charged to the credit card on the master account within the following week of the wedding.

Wedding Planner Requirement

A Wedding Planner will be required to assist with the wedding design/décor and planning details for the weekend. This includes the wedding itinerary, weekend timeline for the wedding party and guests, vendor selection/coordination and payments (florist, musicians, photographer/videographer, etc.), the program and flow for the rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony, and wedding reception. The planner will coordinate the flow of the reception to include announcement of wedding party and newlywed couple, first dances, cutting of the cakes, any speeches, reception send-off, etc. A member from the wedding sales team will be on-site for your rehearsal, ceremony, and reception to ensure that everything is properly staged and executed by Pursell Farms throughout the weekend of your wedding. This includes overseeing all Pursell Farms operations; Guest Services, Food and Beverage, Banquet Staff, Housekeeping, and Grounds Crew.

Lodging and Accommodations

Please note that September and October are the peak season for golfing and corporate events, so if you are looking for a fall wedding date to include overnight accommodations, you will want to book well in advance.
