The highlights include our Columbus Restaurant, the courtyard garden, our wellness deck, and especially our Captains Lounge, which is located over two storeys of a 16th century half-timbered house.

Our wide range of services includes a 24-hour reception, laundry service, two Tesla superchargers and a charging station for further electric cars in our underground car park.

Also, you can always enjoy the unique view of the Flensburg Fjord, and the centre of one of the most beautiful towns in Northern Europe is only a few minutes walk away.

A good choice is always a comfortable and environmentally friendly arrival using public transport, because bus routes 1 and 7 will take you directly from the railway or bus station to the “Schifffahrtsmuseum” stop, which is right in front of our door.

THERE IS ALSO A PIER directly in front of our hotel, so you can also arrive comfortably by water.

Carriage PassageOne of the highlights in our restaurant is the former carriage passage: Slightly separated from the rest of the Columbus it can be furnished with two large tables or several single tables under elegant chandeliers. This is where carriages once halted for guests to alight and enter the restaurant. While the mode of arrival may be somewhat different nowadays, the atmosphere is still as unique as ever. Especially smaller groups can have a wonderful meal together and enjoy the view through the large windows.

IN THE COURTYARD GARDEN – UNDER THE OPEN SKY

Our courtyard garden is embedded in our unique ensemble of buildings and offers a clear view of the sky over Flensburg. In addition to cosy lighting and a water feature, in the rear area there is a faithful replica of a 1901 fishing boat.

We are happy to arrange the courtyard garden individually for your celebration, so that you and your guests can let the wonderful ambience of this unique place work its magic.
