AFFAIRS) Tel.: 948 25 28 00 [email protected] / www.cener.com CENER PARTICIPATES IN NAVARRA INNOVA SHOW Sarriguren (Navarra), November 17, 2010.-An electric vehicle and its charging post, a 3D simulation in real time of a figure in your living room, an innovative refrigerator, healthy and natural foods (lamb with omega 3) a solar panel with nanoparticles, a shower screen that will not stain, scissors with new material, an energy efficient heater, see how lettuce grows in your garden, or how wine ferments in your cellar ... are some of the examples that the Technology Centres, university groups and companies of the Autonomous Region have put on show in this exhibition located at the Planetarium of Pamplona. Showing how innovation improves our quality of life and how progress in R+D+i benefits society in general is the aim of this exhibition which can be visited at the Planetarium until January 5 during the morning and afternoon. It is organized by the Government of Navarra, through ANAIN with the collaboration of the Planetarium and forms part of the activities held to mark the Week of Science, Technology and Innovation. The Fair was inaugurated today by the Minister for Innovation, Business and Employment of the Government of Navarra, José María Roig, Project Director of the Innovation Agency of Navarra, Gerardo Fernández and Javier Armentia, Director of the Planetarium. Ain, Cemitec, CENER, Cima, Citean, CNTA, Evena, FiDene, Fidima, Idab, Itg agrícola, Itg Ganadero, L´Urederra, Ill and the R & D Center Jerónimo de Ayanz are the Technology Centres involved, and 2 groups from the UPNA. Hidronew XXII, Red Eléctrica, Cinfa, Presión y Fuerza, Tutti-pasta and Vision show us with products on the market how R+D+i reaches our homes. This exhibition, organized by the Government of Navarra, through ANAIN and with the collaboration of the Planetarium, is part of the I Navarra Innova Show. The Show aims to bring together in a single space the institutions related to technology and innovation in Navarra, creating a suitable space to showcase innovation as a driver of development in an informative show about how innovation is in the interest of society as a whole. CENER presents a moving model that reproduces to scale the trials that take place in the Blade Testing Laboratory, an international benchmark for industry, which is located in the industrial area of Rocaforte Sangüesa. In the case of Navarra the Science Weeks, Technology and Innovation are coordinated by the Department of Innovation, Business and Employment, through the Innovation Agency of Navarra (ANAIN). The Ministry of Science and Innovation coordinates the organization of the Science Weeks in Spain, through the FECYT.
