. If you see a laminated, blue DECA Diamond around the school, be sure to pick it up and take it to Mrs. McPhillips’s room, Room 107, during a passing period or after school to claim your prize! If you find more than one, please leave it for another student to find. The answer to yesterday’s DECA trivia question “Who is this year’s Central City DECA chapter president?” is Brady Sheets. Today (Tuesday) all high school students are to bring their chrome books to 9th period to complete a short online survey for our upcoming Career and College Fair. All students need to complete the survey at the start of 9th period, before meeting with a teacher or going to another meeting. Central City PTO Christmas Apparel order forms are available in the office. Orders are due November 16th. Juniors and Seniors – Please share the Guidance Notes, that were given to you in English class, with your parents. Seniors interested in health care careers – The RHOP deadline for Wayne State, Chadron State, and Peru State is November 15th. The KHOP deadline for UNK is also November 15th. You must apply to the specific college/university first though. Seniors interested in law – The RLOP deadline through UNK is November 15th and the RLOP deadline through Wayne State College is December 1st. College bound seniors – Please work to apply to the colleges that you are interested in this fall. Let Counselor Anderson know when you apply. Also make sure that you and your family complete the FAFSA. Seniors - The Susan Thompson Buffett Scholarship application is now open. The deadline is February 1st, but there many parts to complete for the online application, including a report from your completed FAFSA.
