Davenport Central has a notable history of success spanning over one hundred years. As a building, our standardized assessment scores once again trended above those of all other high schools in our district. The instructional staff continues to provide exceptional learning opportunities for all students. Graduating seniors from Davenport Central move on to attend some of the finest Ivy League, Big Ten, Pac Ten, and South East Conference universities each and every year. Our students are clearly well-prepared for success, with colleges and universities offering over four million dollars in awards, grants, and scholarships to the 2018 graduating senior class. During the 2016-2017 school year, construction was completed on a new 890 seat auditorium, new 8 lane competitive swimming facility, a new weight room for athletics and physical education, a new main entrance, a new industrial technology center, and a restructured smaller auditorium venue for select theatrical and musical performances. As principal I am very proud of the work our staff and students complete each and every day. Davenport Central High School continues to be a great place for students to learn.
