  • The Central Services Division is responsible for the planning, capital acquisition, and maintenance of all county facilities and vehicles. The goal of this support division is to maximize the utilitarian value of county resources while optimizing operational and capital costs. Strategic planning and visionary leadership will determine the destiny of the division. Central Services team members are proud to provide safe, clean, and environmentally-friendly county facilities and vehicles, as well as efficient, cost-effective, customer-focused repair and maintenance services.

    *Improvements included:Installation of new controlsInstallation of a split air conditioner system in the digital recording room and a mini split in the electrical room this allowed us to put the chillers on night setbacks for the rest of the buildingRetrofits of the lights in the parking garageRetrofit 1761 lamps within the main building which allowed for the remove 200 ceiling mounted can lights.

    Total Savings:From 2012 to 2013 336,415 kWhFrom 2013 to 2014 1,275,583 kWh with a cost savings over the two years of $140,188If Facilities didn't perform any of the ECMs the county's energy bill for the facility would have increased $54,367.86 per year

    *The countys Emergency Operations Center and Consolidated Dispatch Center was awarded LEED Silver Certification from the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) in August 2014*
