Welcome

Welcome to the Centre for Education and Workforce Development (CEWD) Education Calendar.

As a healthcare provider South Western Sydney Local Health District (SWSLHD) strives for a workplace culture of high performance. It is committed to the development of the health workforce and is proud of its comprehensive, innovative and strategic approach to the provision of education and training. CEWD is integral to achieving this goal. It provides a suite of education and development opportunities that support individuals in their career pathway and ensure that care delivered is person-centred and evidence based.

As part of the Transforming Your Experience strategy within SWSLHD the CEWD are proud to introduce our new online Education Calendar for 2020. The Calendar is an interactive live document which can provide staff with current course schedules and course outlines.

The CEWD website offers a single point of access for information on the education and training initiatives offered across SWSLHD as well as links to our partners in education. It provides the link to MyHealth Learning, the portal for enrolling in the face to face courses within the Education Calendar as well as the point of access to your mandatory training, and a wealth of online courses and resources.

We look forward to working with you as you participate in the education offerings and transform your experience by increasing your knowledge, capabilities and confidence within your workplace.

PLEASE NOTE: In this publication the term “course” is used to represent all units of study including courses, workshops and qualifications.
