Video Production and Editing Intern -Progressive Arts Alliance provides an exciting opportunity to expand your portfolio, gain experience editing, shooting, and use your creativity to help document and showcase dynamic arts programs and student performances. Video Production and Editing Interns shoot footage of our workshops and student performances. The position also allows interns to edit video of performances, promotional videos, compilations and more. Summary of job duties: The CNC Set-Up Operator must be able to get tools and programs ready for the next setup by using a Zoller presetter, Greco DNC network, and approve parts for first article inspection using a comparator. Capable of operating multiple CNC lathes machines of various makes/models. Must be able to use all common gages and comparator for inspections to print. Physical dexterity for performing all mechanical changes, collets, cutting tools, and loading bars. Understands up-loading/down-loading programs, resolve problems with tooling on machines, edit programs including feeds/speeds and complete all set-ups in quoted times or faster. Be a capable instructor of CNC processes. Every employee is expected to be an aggressive problem solver and generate suggestions for improving the processes. You will be part of the problem solving team. Comfortable with improvement change and open to growth opportunities. Be able to work with the CNC Engineers to reduce setup times, optimize programs, redline documents, and suggest tooling upgrades and selections. Has experience in, or willing to learn Lean manufacturing and cellular manufacturing.

Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore Donation Pick-Up Driver works with volunteers and staff to manage the procurement, pick-up, intake, routing and sale of donated building materials, furniture, and tools.

 Responsibilities Include: 

Driving Habitat box trucks to make donation pick-ups around Cuyahoga county Providing direction to volunteer pick-up assistants

Mapping economical routes to pick-up locations

Discerning which potential donations to accept

Routine maintenance of ReStore trucks; managing gasoline receipts and truck mileage log

Properly loading and securing items on truck

Properly filling out donation paperwork for donor and Habitat office

Unloading truck upon return to the ReStore warehouse

Keeping staging area and garage orderly and clean at all times

Actively participate in Habitat recycling program and encourage others to do the same.

 This part-time position is a member of the ReStore Team and reports to the ReStore Inventory Manager.

The ReStore Donation Pick-Up Driver will work 24 hrs/wk on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday

  Requirements:   

Must be able to lift and move up to 100 lbs. on a daily basis Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Must pass background check

Experience driving box trucks (7.5 x 20)

Knowledge of building materials

Ability to read maps and use Mapquest

Good written and oral communication skills

Strong organizational ability and time-management skills

Ability to lead and support volunteers

Commitment to creative problem-solving and a cooperative work ethic
