FOCUS K3D Conference on

Semantic 3D Media and Content11 -12 February 2010, INRIA Sophia Antipolis - Méditerranée, France

Instructions for Submissions www.focusk3d.eu

The FOCUS K3D conference calls for contribution on novel ideas and applications in the emerging research field of semantic 3D media and content. The key event of the conference will be the presentation of the research roadmap prepared by the FOCUS K3D project. The roadmap will be presented and discussed with the participants in order to identify current issues in knowledge intensive 3D media, trace future research and technological directions, and establish new partnerships to promote innovative projects involving both academia and industry. The conference addresses scientists not only in Computer Graphics but also in all the disciplines that make strong use of 3D modelling and simulation; professional developers of tools for 3D content creation and management; publishers/dealers of online 3D repositories; creators of digital 3D content.

Conference Chairs B. Falcidieno (CNR, Italy), N. Magnenat-Thalmann (MIRALab/Univ. of Geneva, Switzerland), P. Alliez (INRIA, France), M. Yvinec (INRIA, France), M. Spagnuolo (CNR, Italy)
