CHANGE  TO  MĀORI  KEYBOARD  IN  MAC    

 1. Under  the  Apple  symbol  open  up  System  Preferences.    

         2. In  System  Preferences  select  Language  &  Text.    

   

     3. Under  Input  Sources    scroll  down  to  select  Māori.    

       4. Select  the  flag  (often  Australian)  and  select  Māori  

       

     5. The  flag  will  change  to  the  Māori  flag.  Your  keyboard  is  ready  for  Māori  text.    

     6. Press  the  Option  when  needing  vowels  with  macrons.
