All influence comes from title-derived authority.

Often level is gained by appointment.

Leadership/follower-ship discontinues past the

stated positional jurisdiction.

Level 2: Permission

Influence is derived from relationships.

People follow beyond their obligation.

Leader begins to focus on people development; fulfilling needs and desires.

Level 3: Production

Influence is derived from past achievements.

People are motivated , and confident on leadership.

Leadership is fun and problem-solving is

effortless.

Level 4: People Development

Influence stems from loyalty derived from employees’ personal development.Subordinates exhibit superior performance and lead others.Organization experiences high growth.

reputation.

★Leader has demonstrated

outstanding leading capabilities

consistently for years .

★Very few leaders ever achieve this level.
