Dear God, I bet it is very hard for You to love all the people in the world. There are only four people in our family and I can never do it. Nan

Dear God, Did You mean for the giraffe to look like that or was it an accident? Norma

Hail, Thou Eminent and wise pastor of Summit Church. Wouldest thou grant to thy daughter a couple crisp, green, dollar bills so that I mightest purchase from yon rapid service food establishment one savory frozen dairy concoction to tickle the taste buds of my tender mouth?

Luke 11:1-4 – Once Jesus was in a certain place praying. As He finished, one of His disciples came to Him and said, "Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples." 2 Jesus said, "This is how you should pray: "Father, may Your Name be kept holy. May your Kingdom come soon. 3 Give us each day the food we need, 4 and forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us. And don't let us yield to temptation." \

Expectation• God’s Will is always done in Heaven, but not on

earth–so we must pray for it to be done–and then do it!

Page 12: Charles Spurgeon: I would rather teach one man to pray than to teach ten men to preach

4. Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who have sinned against us – Confession

Mark 11:25-26 – And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him and let it drop (leave it, let it go), in order that your Father Who is in heaven may also forgive you your [own] failings and shortcomings and let them drop. 26 But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your failings and shortcomings. 5. Lead us from temptation or Don’t allow us to come into a place of testing, but deliver from evil or lead us, lest we fall into temptation and deliver us from the evil one – Pray for God’s protection

James 1:13-14 – And remember, when you are being tempted, do not say, "God is tempting me." God is never tempted to do wrong, and He never tempts anyone else. 14 Temptation comes from our own desires, which entice us and drag us away.
