Software Rollback Guideline

Pre-Conditions:

To make sure that the Micro SD card is available with enough free space and can be read

and write.

A Micro SD card of 4GB or more should be available. It is recommended that The Micro

SD card is made by Sandisk, Kingstone, or Kingmax.

To make sure that the power of the battery is enough to run the Rollback process. It is

recommended that the power of the battery is more than 30%.

Rollback operations will erase all user data. You should backup all important data on an

external SD card before Rollback.

We suggest you to take back up of the data as the Rollback may cause erase of the

userdata.

Normal Rollback:

Format the Micro SD card (This operation is optional).

Copy the Software: UPDATE.APP to a directory named dload.

Copy the entire dload folder (with UPDATE.APP in it) to the root directory of the Micro

SD card.

Go to Settings -> Updater -> Menu -> Local update -> Confirm -> Upgrade to start the

Rollback. Please refer the following pictures:

When the progress bar stops, the phone will restart automatically. Userdata will be corrupted after

downgrade. After restarting the following screens will appear for Factory reset. Factory reset can

also be possible through Recovery mode .User can enter to recovery mode by pressing VOLUME

UP and POWER OFF Key.

Force Rollback:

Format the Micro SD card (This operation is optional).

Make sure your handset is power off. Insert the Micro SD card into the handset. Press the

VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN key, and then press the POWER key to power on

the phone and enter the Software Upgrade Mode.

When the progress bar stops, the phone will restart automatically.
