EPSILON OMEGA FOUNDATION SILENT AUCTION The Pink & Green Gala is the premiere scholarship fundraiser for Epsilon Omega Foundation whose mission is to meet the challenges of the community through service, education, and cultural development.

SILENT AUCTION PROCESS OTHER NOTES OF INFORMATION 

1. About the items and initial process. a. The Silent Auction will open at 8:00 p.m. and close at 11:00 p.m. b. All auction items have a bid sheet with a minimum bid and bid increment printed on each sheet. c. Minimum bids generally start at a substantial discount to the retail value of the item to encourage

lively bidding.

2. Bidding on an auction item. a. If you are the initial bidder, you must enter the minimum bid permitted for that item and write

your name, assigned bidder number, and seating table number next your bid amount. b. If someone has already bided on an item, and you wish to enter a bid, you must enter an amount

higher in accordance to the stated minimum increment for that item (i.e., increment amount is $5.00 higher than previous bided amount)

c. Bidding will continue until auction item sheets are pulled indicating that bidding is closed.

3. Settling your account and claiming items. a. When the Silent Auction is over, an Epsilon Omega Gala Hostess will close the table and winning

bids will be posted. b. As a bidder, it is your responsibility to check the final winning bids to see if you are the successful

bidder. c. If you are the successful bidder, you will proceed to the registration table to check out your

item(s). d. All auction items must be paid for in full by cash or check at the end of the event. Checks should

be made payable to the EPSILON OMEGA FOUNDATION.

PLEASE NOTE: 

1. All auction Items are sold “as is.” The success of the auction depends on the goodwill of the donors, and all buyers should carefully observe the terms stated on the bid sheets and gift certificates. If applicable, auction items must be redeemed by the date specified on the certificate.

2. All sales are final. In event of a dispute, Epsilon Omega Foundation will have sole and final discretion to determine winning bidder.
