The San Jose – Evergreen Community College District Police

Department is committed to providing a safe and secure learning

environment for the life, liberty and pursuit of academic and

professional success of all the diverse members of the District. We

will accomplish this by promoting strong collaborations,

professionalism, transparency, innovation, pride and service.

Features

• Rave Guardian is comprised of 3 major features to help promote community safety.

Safety Timer• Setting a Safety Timer allows

your designated Guardians to be notified if your timer expires.

• You may want to set a Safety Timer if you plan to be out late, visit an unfamiliar area, meet with someone you don’t know, etc.

Guardians

• You can invite anyone with the Rave Guardian app to be your Guardian.

• Guardians can text, group chat, and call each other through the app.

• Guardians can be designated to receive notifications when someone sets a Safety Timer.

Emergencies & Tips

• The app allows the user to make direct calls to District Police as well as City Police.

• Users are able to text tips and photos related to campus safety to District Police.
